There is an interesting article in Popeater.com about the trend of more and more teen stars having plastic surgery. The most recent obvious example is singer Charice, who reportedly received Botox injections to thin her lower face. My comments are featured in the article, along with those of Dr. Grant Stevens, a well-known and respected plastic surgeon. While Charice's doctor, Dr. Vicki Belo, is called a "plastic surgeon," she's actually a dermatologist.

That's just how crazy Hollywood is...
ReplyDeleteWe all know that botox relaxes the muscles. If she (Charice) had it done on her lower face, especially around her cheeks and jawline, do you think that will have any effect on her vocal? Since her great vocal range is her prized possession?
ReplyDeleteThe most important part of this post is not that Charice is 18... it's that her "plastic surgeon" is actually a dermatologist! There's a difference... and it's a BIG one!
