Michael Jackson and a Possible Prosthetic Nose
This is an interesting plastic surgery-related story regarding the sad tale of Michael Jackson. It appears that during the later years of his life he may have worn a prosthetic nose. From the New York Post:
Michael Jackson wore a prosthetic nose, according a report -- and it was missing from his surgically mangled face as he lay in an LA morgue.
Left behind was a small, dark hole surrounded by bits of cartilage, Rolling Stone magazine said, citing witnesses who saw the King of Pop's body on the autopsy table.
Jackson, who was notoriously shy about his appearance, wore the prosthetic to mask the effects of decades of plastic surgery, according to the magazine.
It seems that the more we learn, the sadder the story gets. Hopefully his children can grow up with some semblance of normalcy. As long as someone keeps that creepy Joe Jackson away from them, I suppose they have a chance.
Thanks for reading.

Love him, or hate him, the young man could sing.
I've seen the pic of Michael on a gurney. He had a nose there, not a black hole...
So, from the pictures, what do you think about the possibility that MJ had a prosthetic nose?
"Creepy Joe Jackson" was a very cruel man in my opinion. It's enough to make you weep. There is a picture of Michael that I often see in searches where he clearly has the top of his nose missing and cartilage showing. It's a very sorry sight. It is a reminder to all of us how important we are in the lives of our children and how we should always seek to encourage, reward, praise and, above all, LOVE our little and big ones for what they are.
It is quite possible, but then, who really cares? The man is dead and things like this really shouldn't be dug up and instead ought to be left well enough alone.
When I first read this, I thought it's possible considering how crazy his life is. But his nose is too similar to his sister's LaToya Jackson's... the same kind of triangle nostrils... and imo, if you're going to get a prosthetic nose, you should get one that actually looks normal. So, imo, I don't think this story is true.
Wouldn't you remove your prosthetic nose while you slept? I agree that the picture of MJ on a gurney showed that he had a nose.
Rosina is commenting on a picture where MJ has tape on his nose and it is wrinkled up on the end.

I would think that if you had a prosthetic nose created you would have it made to look like a more attractive version of a natural nose that would fit your face.
Could a prostetic nose stand up to high res photos? Because I tried to find some hint of a seam and I couldn't... on any photo.
Also the dermatologist said he had been putting fillers in the nose to make it look better recently. I personally prefer the "black hole" rumour, but I'm not a fan of the man.
I didn't know much about Michael Jackson until after his death. Surprisingly, the more I read about him the more guilty I felt.

Nose plastic surgery is one of the most popular types of operations that you can get. If you get plastic surgery on the nose, you are essentially transforming the tissue, which can be found on your face.thanks a lot for blogger for sharing.

I'm really late with this considering this post is from over a year ago, but his autopsy report has proven that this is completely untrue. His nose was completely intact. And that picture that has been floating around the internet for years shows him with a band aid on his nose, nothing else.
Unfortunately too many people buy into the myths that are generated by tabloids and bloggers even when the facts are staring them in the face. Michael deserved so much better.
