The Premiere Site For Celebrity Plastic Surgery By A Real Plastic Surgeon
I'm a Michigan-based Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who has been featured on Dr. 90210. The info here is my opinion alone and should not be taken as fact or as medical advice. I've not treated any of the celebrities presented here.

In an interview with
Elle Magazine,
Demi Moore has finally confirmed the rumors that she's had plastic surgery. The 47 year old actress stated that she had work done, but only to her body. She also admitted to body image issues, and would not rule out more plastic surgery in the future. According to
nydailynews.com:
"I've had something done but it's not my face," says the mother of three... However, Moore did reveal that she wouldn't be opposed to having plastic surgery in the future.
"You know what? Maybe one day I'll go under the knife," she admits. "It just irritates me that people are constantly saying how much I've spent on plastic surgery.""I had an extreme obsession with my body," she says. "I made it a measure of my own value. I tried to dominate it, which I did, and I changed it multiple times over."It's nice to hear her finally revealing that her body is not 100% plastic surgery-free. I never believed the audacious rumors that she'd had $3 million worth of plastic surgery, nor did I believe her frequent denials of going under the knife. I wish that the reporter from
Elle would have asked her why she felt it necessary to deny having plastic surgery for all those years. Good for you to finally embrace it, Demi! Now admit to having work done on your face and we'll all be happy!

Apparently
Demi Moore is not happy with people questioning her claim that she's not had any plastic surgery. Her quote in
Marie Claire France magazine prompted many websites, such as this one, to question the truthfulness of her claims. This caused her to respond via Twitter:
“All this garbage that came out today about me is nothing more than an effort to diminish not just me but all women,” Demi Tweeted on Monday afternoon.Demi advised other women to live their life free of body comparisons or criticisms. “Diminishing us by continually measuring women based on how we look. Or dont look. Creating comparisons instead of connections Say no 2 that!” she added. The lady doth protest too much, methink.

In a recent interview, actress
Demi Moore addressed rumors that she's had a ton of
plastic surgery to look as good as she does. She denies everything.
"[The plastic surgery rumors are] completely false," Demi tells Marie Claire France. "I've never had it done. I don't like the idea of having an operation to hold up the aging process. The scalpel won't make you happy."Hmmm.... Very interesting. Demi, I think your nose is growing... and it's not from a rhinoplasty.
It's funny that she would feel comfortable to admit using leeches to suck and "detoxify" her blood but would be all denials with plastic surgery. (

In a recent interview, actress
Demi Moore addressed the rumors that she's had $3 million worth of
plastic surgery:
Do you get irritated by all the rumours suggesting you paid $3 million for surgical procedures on your face and body?“Yes, it’s irritating - and it’s also not true. But to fight it feels futile because it just perpetuates the myth. The truth is I have no problem with enhancing one’s looks or fixing something that’s changed. It’s always an option, but I can’t see me ever getting something like that done.”Now, in my opinion she looks fantastic. While I do think she is a natural beauty, I also believe she's likely had some work done. Three million dollars worth though? That's ludicrous.
A successful
plastic surgery practice
grosses about a million dollars a year. That means that Demi would have to have undergone three years worth of
plastic surgery by a single
plastic surgeon to cover the three million dollars worth she's rumored to have had. If each procedure roughly costs ten grand, then that would mean she would have had 300 surgeries! Not even Jocelyn Wildenstein can claim that!

On a recent appearance on David Letterman's
Late Show,
Demi Moore admitted to undergoing a turpentine bath and leech therapy in order to "thin" and "detoxify" her blood. It occurred at some woman's house in Austria. The leech was placed onto her belly button, where it latched and sucked blood until it was fully engorged and fell off.
Leeches??!! Yuck.
I find it completely amazing that celebrities are comfortable admitting to ridiculous 'treatments' like this, yet still can't admit they've had
plastic surgery. It's more appropriate for a Hollywood star to admit they've had high pressure water shot up their rectum (
the celebrity colonic) than a
facelift. With the slow trickle of stars coming forth and admitting their
plastic surgery, maybe things will eventually change.

According to
Daily India.com,
Demi Moore has laughed off rumors that she's had 3 million dollars worth of plastic surgery. She apparently stated:
"I was in getting a facial recently and there were reports that I had been in there for countless hours, saying I'd had surgical procedures. Am I going to sue? Do I really care?"
Three million dollars worth of plastic surgery is crazy. Currently I charge about $7000 for a
breast augmentation (gel implants). If you divide that by $3 million, that means she'd have the equivalent of... a ton of breast augmentation surgeries! Now, some other surgeons charge more than me (the Michigan economy is currently in the toilet so I don't charge exorbitant fees), but I still believe the rumor is likely false.

Demi Moore has reportedly had her knees done. According to the
Daily Mail, the star has reportedly been unhappy with how her knees looked and recently had them surgically altered. Here is their story (abridged):
Despite her enviable figure, Demi Moore, 43, always had one or two things she wanted to hide away - her knees.
After her flaw was pointed out to her, the mother of three - who is very conscious that actor husband Ashton Kutcher is 15 years younger than her - asked her plastic surgeon to see what he can do.
"Demi went to Brian Novack, who has already done work on her," a source close to the actress said. "He is a fantastic surgeon and his clients don't look like they've had surgery. Demi couldn't stand it that there was any part of her that is not perfect.
"She is also sensitive about her age, although Ashton has told her a million times he doesn't care about what she looks like because he loves her.
"A lot of her friends were trying to talk her out of having more surgery. Worrying about her knees, of all things, is just silly. She's lucky that's the only part of her left to sag!"
Knees are one of the hardest areas of the body to have done because there is nowhere to conceal the scarring.
"If you cut away skin there is going to be scarring," said plastic surgeon Alex Karidis of the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth in North London. "If you have a neck lift you can hide the scarring behind the ear, but the knees are one of the most exposed areas of the body.
"I would always advise my clients against having knee surgery because it is impossible to hide. And even though the scarring might not be as bad as the sagging, it will be a telltale sign that you have had surgery."
The surgery added another £5,000 to the £220,000 tally of improving her body. Among the work she has allegedly had is liposuction to her hips, thighs and stomach, estimated to have cost £16,000, a £9,500 breast implant operation and £20,000 of work on her face.
After a string of film flops in the late Nineties and a difficult break up with her husband of 11 years, Bruce Willis, Miss Moore has enjoyed a comeback since having the main work done nearly four years ago.
What cosmetic surgeons believe Demi has had done:
• Liposuction to her hips, inner and outer thighs and stomach - £16,000
• Beast implants for 1996 film Striptease - £11,000
• Subsequent operation to reduce her breast implants and have a breast lift - £9,500
• Brow lift - £3,600
• Chemical facial skin peel - £10,000
• Collagen injections (per course) - £200
• Teeth veneered and laser whitening - £6,200
• A long-term diet and fitness routine, including nutritionist, personal trainer, yoga instructor and kick-boxing champion - £165,000
• Knees surgery - £5,000
Total: £226,500 I haven't checked the exchange rates in years, but last time I was in the UK, a U.S. dollar was worth about half a British pound. That puts the total amount she's estimated to have spent around $400,000! I would doubt some of the amount above, as a chemical peel should not cost 10,000 pounds and liposuction 16,000 pounds. If that was the case, I would retire at age 40!
