Sharon Stone on Meryl Streep, Plastic Surgery, and "Unmade Bed(s)"
Sharon Stone has recently commented on Meryl Streep's lack of plastic surgery, calling her an 'unmade bed.'
According to Splash News:
The 51-year-old Basic Instinct star made the comment in reference to how good she looks without having plastic surgery.
She said: 'She looks like an unmade bed.'
Stone added that Streep 'looks true. It is a very good reason as an actor not to have surgery, but to do it in the old-fashioned way - to go to the gym and take care of your internal life'.
Asked if she has ever thought about plastic surgery herself, Stone said: 'I'm not saying I might not do a little something later. Not now.'
Not now? What about breast implants? What about some Botox between her eyebrows? I wouldn't want to be called an 'unmade bed.' That sounds wrinkly to me. I'd rather be a futon with throw pillows.
Thanks for reading.

Are you going to blog about Heidi Montag? I am dying to know your opinion, and whether you would have done such major work on a 23 year old.
Please God, don't be the surgeon who did her procedures.
I remember around the time Sharon Stone had that Aneurysm, either just before or just after, she re-appeared in the public eye looking "different" , it took me a while to figure it out - but then I realised she'd had a facelift, it was quite obvious. Also, in BAII, he boob job is really obvious in the spa pool scene - they've never looked very good because she doesn't have enough body fat to hide them.
Stone has obvious breast implants and I too remember a few years back when she suddenly looked noticibly different. I didn't suspect a face lift but definitely an upper blepharoplasty (eye lids) at the least..
I recently saw "Its Complicated" and for a 60 year old who's purported to never had surgery, Streep looks awesome - at least a decade younger.
I think Sharon is right. Nobody especially women, like to be called an "unmade bed". Women instinctively try to look young & gorgeous. Of course, this is naturally not possible for the entire life. Aging brings these effects and now women counter it with surgery! Having surgery is a personal decision and I really admire people who can age gracefully and confidently without planning to go under the knife.
One thing is sure: Meryl Streep is an extraordinary actress, Sharon Stone is not.
Let's put it very simple. Meryl Streep is a great actress with a huge variety of characters performed in her portfolio. Stone has only BAsic instinct.
Meryl with her age looks much better than Sharon wih hers. Stone ha simple envy for Meryl.
I believe if it makes you feel better than do it but not so drastic you look like Cher. An eye lift or a little botox seems fine to me. Look as good as you feel but if your 50 or 60 please don't try to look 20 again. I do like when the celebrities are honest about what they have had done.
